Jessica Boyette-Davis, Regine Debrosse, Janina Steinmetz, Katherine White, Matthew Wice, Katherine Wolsiefer, and Connor Wood had their research funded by the last cycle of the Small Research Grant Program. The next cycle will accept applications from September 15 – November 15, 2017.
 
Students, Apply for a Dissertation Research Award!
The Heritage Dissertation Research Awards provide $1,000 grants to assist with the costs of conducting dissertation research in personality and social psychology. Apply for a 2017 award by October 15.

A recent study found the use of positive emotion and social words is associated with religious affiliation, whereas use of negative emotion and cognitive processes is more common for those who are not religious than those who are religious.
